Basic Needs for Children
It is our mission to teach children about the love of Christ by meeting their basic needs preparing them to care for future generations while making disciples. Basic needs include: food, school supplies, wood for cooking food, bed mats, basic medical needs, school facility rental and payment for teachers and cooks.
FOOD & CLEAN WATER: The orphanage is currently caring for over 100 children whose parents have died or abandoned them. In addition, the school provides meals for nearly 100 additional children (200 total) every day.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: The school provides basic education for children ranging in age 6-12
SCHOOL BUILDING: The school building is a rental and rents must be paid until we are able to procure land and construct a new building.
MEDICAL NEEDS: When children fall ill (COVID, flu, malaria, etc.), they have access to minimal care for minimal costs.
STAFF: Several staff members are needed to care for the basic needs of the children, including teachers, cooks, security and an office manager.
